The Blues Factor will be kicking off this year's festival at 11:00am, along with opening remarks from festival chairmain Keith Van Etten. Expect to hear a mix of traditional delta and texas blues, as well as a few surprises during their set. Bluesmen Tom Malafarina, Bill Melcher, and Doug Babczak bring the blues back to the people. Excellent blues band featuring soulful male lyrics and inciteful melodies. The Blues City Blues Band is a rockin' kick butt guitar and vocal driven blues band from the Reading PA area. Formed in early 2006 the band performs original music as well as your favorite blues covers.

Friars Point
A rising force on the tri-state music scene. This Pennsylvania based band explores the blues genre from classic to contemporary artists as well as their root influences of Blues, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Soul and R&B in their own Original Blues Music. Friars Point formed in July of 2006 originally as the Long Rider Blues Band. In only a few short months after forming, the Long Riders had "National Act" exposure opening for Trent Tomlinson, Jackyl, and closing for Robin Trower.view band's website
